Speed & Hosting

Fast hosting and website speed for contractors

Speed matters more than people think. If your site takes more than a few seconds to load, a chunk of visitors are already gone, and Google notices too. We build fast and host on infrastructure that stays up.

The problem we solve

Pages that load before your customer loses patience.

On a phone with a couple of bars of signal, a heavy site is painful, and people quietly tap back to Google. A slow site loses visitors and rankings at the same time, and the owner usually never knows.

In plain terms

A slow website is a shop with a jammed front door. People give it a shove, and if it does not open fast, they walk to the next store. We oil the hinges so the door swings right open.

Speed built into every site. Hosting included with care plans from $50/mo.

Fewer bounces

Fast pages keep visitors from leaving before they contact you.

Better rankings

Speed is a real ranking factor, so fast pages help you climb.

Reliable uptime

Your site stays up on the day a big customer is looking.

The full picture

What this is, honestly explained

What slow actually costs you

Your customer is not testing your site on office wifi. They are on a phone, often on a job site, in a parking lot, or on a couch with two bars of signal, comparing you against the next search result. Every second of loading is a share of them giving up — research consistently shows a large chunk of mobile visitors abandon pages that take more than about three seconds. They do not complain; they just tap back to Google and call your competitor.

Google measures the same experience through Core Web Vitals — its scores for how fast your page loads, how quickly it responds, and whether things jump around — and folds them into rankings. So a slow site loses twice: fewer visitors convert, and fewer visitors arrive in the first place. The owner usually sees neither loss, which is what makes speed the most invisible leak in local marketing.

What actually makes sites slow

Nine times out of ten the culprits are unglamorous: photos uploaded straight from a phone at 8 MB apiece, page-builder platforms that ship megabytes of code for a simple page, a pile of plugins and tracking scripts each adding their own weight, and bargain shared hosting where your site queues behind hundreds of strangers' sites on the same overloaded server.

The fixes are equally unglamorous and very effective: images compressed into modern formats that look identical at a tenth the size, code trimmed to what the page actually uses, things loading only when the visitor scrolls to them, and hosting that responds instantly. This is not exotic engineering — it is diligence, applied once and then protected by not letting the site bloat back up.

Why our sites are fast by default

We do not sell speed as an add-on to sites we built slow. Every site we build starts on a modern framework that produces lean pages, gets its images optimized as a matter of course, and launches on fast infrastructure with SSL. Speed optimization as a separate service exists for sites we did not build — the ones dragging around a decade of page-builder weight.

For those, the process is honest: we measure first, on real phones and real connections, and tell you what is achievable. Some sites can be dramatically faster in a week; some platforms have a ceiling you cannot optimize past, and if you are on one, we will say so — along with what a rebuild would change. Either way you get numbers before and after, not adjectives.

The difference

Why ours is different

Not all speed & hosting is the same. Here is the honest comparison between the cheap, common way and how we do it.

Load time
Common way: Several seconds, so visitors leave
Our way: Under a couple of seconds
Hosting
Common way: Cheap shared, flaky uptime
Our way: Fast, reliable, and monitored
Core Web Vitals
Common way: Failing Google's page test
Our way: Tuned to pass
Security
Common way: No SSL, 'Not secure' warning
Our way: SSL and the trusted padlock
Images & code
Common way: Heavy and unoptimized
Our way: Compressed, modern, and lean

How it works

A clear process, start to finish

01

Measure

We test your real-world speed, especially on mobile.

02

Optimize

Images, code, and caching tuned so pages load fast.

03

Host

We move you to fast, reliable infrastructure with SSL.

04

Monitor

We keep an eye on uptime and performance over time.

What it costs

Pricing, out in the open

Speed is not an upsell here — it is built into everything. What you might pay for depends on where you are starting from.

New sites

Included

Every site we build is fast by default: optimized images, lean code, modern hosting, SSL. There is no 'speed package' to add because it is not optional.

Hosting

From $50/mo

Fast, monitored hosting with SSL and uptime checks is part of every care plan, alongside updates, backups, and edits.

Speeding up an existing site

Quoted

For sites we did not build: we measure what is slow, tell you what is fixable, and quote the work. If your platform caps what is possible, you hear that first.

What moves the price

  • Platform — clean code optimizes further than page-builder sites with a low ceiling
  • Image volume — a 300-photo gallery takes more work than a 20-photo site
  • Hosting situation — sometimes moving hosts is the biggest single win

Speed work comes with before-and-after numbers from real devices, so you see exactly what you paid for.

FAQ

Speed & Hosting: common questions

Aim for your main content to appear in under about two and a half seconds on a normal mobile connection. Slower than that and you start losing visitors.
